SOSE Youth Advisory Forum Marketing Campaign Year 2
The marketing campaign aimed to engage young people aged 16 – 25 years old from the South of Scotland in Dumfries & Galloway and the Scottish Borders to join the SOSE Youth Advisory Forum. The objective was to increase applications encouraging young people to have a voice in shaping regional priorities and community development.
So far, the Forum have had the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the work of SOSE, as well as regional and national project consultations, and the Forum members have loved all the opportunities that they’ve had the chance to get involved in.
The campaign aimed to reach both the Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway, but some activities were bespoke to each region to ensure that we reached as many young people as possible.
The SOSE Youth Advisory Forum Campaign combined storytelling, targeted messaging, and multi-channel promotion to engage young people as new members.
By prioritising the voices of the current members, leveraging social media, press and community networks, and utilising updated branding, I aimed for the campaign to increase awareness of the incredible work of the Forum and demonstrate the tangible impact and the value the Forum has had over the last 2 years.
I thoroughly enjoyed working with SOSE, it is a fantastic opportunity for young people and creating a campaign around the activity was easy when the work is so exciting. I would like to say a big thank you the members of the Forum for their work in creating the assets and their support, it would not have been possible without them. Their work speaks for itself and as the Forum continues to evolve, they are all destined for big things in the future, wherever their journey takes them.
Take a look at their work and support there great work: https://www.southofscotlandenterprise.com/driving-change/youthadvisoryforum
