Music at the Multiverse – Marketing

I had the pleasure of working with Music at the Multiverse to deliver a marketing and promotional campaign for the 2022 event.

Music at the Multiverse is one of Scotland’s newest live music events set on the incredible Crawick Multiverse site in Upper Nithsdale, Dumfries & Galloway.

Crawick Multiverse is a spectacular 55-acre environmental artwork and visitor attraction inspired by the sun, stars and colliding galaxies. Standing on the border of Dumfries & Galloway and Ayrshire, it features giant conical mounds representing colliding galaxies, a huge avenue of standing stones and even more spectacular features inspired by the sun, stars and other wonders of the cosmos.

I was commissioned to deliver a social media and advertising campaign as well as working closely with the PR team for the event. I supported in creating sponsorship packages and opportunities and attended during set up and event days to offer live coverage and support during the weekend.

The sharp showers over the weekend didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd that weekend and we all enjoyed the lineup who included The Bluebells, Bay City Rollers, Glasvegas and the sun came out to finish the weekend in style with The Red Hot Chilli Pipers closing the show in style. As well as DJ’s in the dance tent including DJ Malcolm X, Jamie B and Mallorca Lee.

Both days we welcomed local Brownie and Guide packs to see first hand what goes into an event of this scale and gave them tours to inspire the next generation of event managers thanks to sponsorship secured in our planning of the event.

Through the promotional campaign, we experienced a 100% growth in audience numbers, and it has gone from strength to strength in the years since under the incredible marketing of Graeme Aitken and Caroline Bell from Clear as a Bell Marketing – who are both also incredible freelancers if you’re looking for additional support on a project! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Crawick Multiverse and Music at the Multiverse.
