SOSE – Recruitment Marketing Campaign

I was delighted to work with South of Scotland Enterprise in 2024 to support them to create a marketing strategy to engage young people in the West of Dumfries & Galloway and the Scottish Borders to increase applications to join the SOSE Youth Advisory Forum in Dumfries & Galloway and to start a new Group in the Scottish Borders.

The group gives young people of the South of Scotland a voice through providing input into SOSE’s priority areas of focus.

My campaign involved focusing on three key areas empowerment, community and incentives through PR support, digital advertising/social media, print marketing and community engagement.

The successful campaign ran for 6 weeks in Autumn 2024 and the new members in the Dumfries & Galloway Forum have joined the existing members and the Scottish Borders Forum has got off to a flying start.

Melissa Gunn, Youth and Employability Manager has created an exciting programme of opportunities for young people within SOSE to empower young people in the South of Scotland, engaging in topics that will directly influence the future of their region and giving them a chance to make a real difference. I’m really excited to see what the future holds for them all as it’s an amazing opportunity to make a real difference.

Keep an eye on their website and social media channels for the latest news as the Forum goes from strength to strength – Youth Advisory Forum Information
