Scotland Starts Here & the SWC300

The South of Scotland Destination Alliance (SSDA) is the strategic Destination Management and Marketing Organisation for the South of Scotland, encompassing Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders. It is the largest such destination group in Scotland.

Since October 2025, I’ve managed their Instagram and Facebook pages for Scotland Starts Here as well as the Facebook page for SWC300.

Scotland Starts Here is the SSDA’s consumer platform, bringing travel information and inspiration to audiences across the globe. Tourism businesses across the South of Scotland can be part of Scotland Starts Here by signing up to become a member of the SSDA and claiming their listing on the website and app. Members of the SSDA can also work with us on content for Scotland Starts Here such as itineraries, blog posts and promotional activities such as campaigns or press trips.
